Data Privacy

We know that your corporate knowledge and data is the most precious asset you have. Therefore,

RheinInsights never directly stores or has access to your enterprise data.

The RheinInsights Retrieval Suite is a standalone product and not an SaaS or managed service. This means data is always only processed at the customer’s premises and synchronized between the content source and the search engine. There is no way RheinInsights can see or access this data.

The RheinInsights Approach

We offer two hosting variants:

  1. On-premises. Here the customer downloads the RheinInsights Retrieval Suite and deploys it on one of its virtual machines or in a local Docker container.

  2. Our Azure Marketplace Offer (RheinInsights Retrieval Suite at Microsoft Azure Marketplace). This is an Azure Kubernetes Service Deployment which runs in a resource group at the customer. Also here, RheinInsights never has access to the data.
