OpenProject Connector
After upgrading to the release 1.22.0 of our Retrieval Suite, customers can use the new OpenProject connector to index project management their issues, attachments and knowledge from OpenProject into their enterprise search and AI platforms. As all of our connectors, the OpenProject connector reflects the permission model from the OpenProject instance in search or the vector database. This way, users and AI agents get answers based on the knowledge they can access in OpenProject.
Query- and AI Pipeline
This release also introduces the ability to additionally index HTML content alongside text chunks. In turn it enables a better visibility of tabular data and allows AI workflows answering questions more precisely.
A new automated query pipeline step, called evidence collection, enables the execution of complex agentic retrieval tasks. This step solves complex, multi-stepped knowledge gathering and retrieval tasks.
In addition, a new reranking step can utilize the reranker which is shipped with our releases to improve result quality and relevance before information is passed to AI applications.
Admin Interface
This release also brings a revised administration experience. Information has been slightly reordered so that management of the Suite becomes easier.
The release even more brings a demanded feature that administrators can assign labels to their connectors. This makes management of multiple instances of the same connector easier. As a prominent example, indexing multiple SharePoint farms needs multiple SharePoint connectors where connector labels help distinguishing these now.
