The current version of the RheinInsights Retrieval Suite brings two new important UX features: a standalone document previewer and new agentic AI pipelines.

Document Previews

Document previews are important for human context understanding. And it is a long demanded feature to have a document previewer which understand user permissions.

Our Retrieval Suite can generate document previews as part of its document processing as part of the document indexing.

With the current release, Version 1.18 and onwards, the Suite offers to not just display these previews as part of the search results. But by clicking on the document link users can access the entire document without the need to open the document in the original location. Also links integrated in third party frontends can point to our document previewer.

This feature can be compared to the read access within Microsoft’s Office Online Server.

Agentic Retrieval

On the other hand, besides the strong deterministic prompt and query processing we added a new agentic mode. When the “Agentic Retrieval” stage is included in an AI pipeline and called, the LLM can decide by itself which tools to call and how often. For some scenarios this brings even better answers to user or agent inputs.
